Project Overview:

Routly is a mobile app concept designed to simplify and enrich road trip planning through intuitive collaboration and smart travel tools. The app empowers users to co-create itineraries, share locations, track real-time progress, and discover curated stops along their route.

Design Goals:

• Create an engaging, user-friendly interface that enhances group travel planning

• Use vibrant, location-inspired visuals to reflect the energy of exploration

• Integrate features like live maps, group messaging, and stop suggestions

• Foster connection through shared routes, travel journals, and photo albums

Key Features:

• Collaborative Trip Planning: Invite friends, assign roles, and vote on stops

• Smart Route Suggestions: Get tailored recommendations based on interests and time

• Live Sharing: Track each other’s location and ETA in real time

• Trip Journal: Log memories, photos, and notes all in one place

Design Approach:

The visual identity of Routly is bold and clean, balancing excitement with usability. A mix of cool and warm tones evokes the changing landscapes of a journey. Icons are friendly and modern, while the interface stays clutter-free to focus on function and experience.
